Encourage dialogue about best practices in student engagement, writing instruction and student success while fostering a sense of community amongst ENG 100 faculty.
OUTCOMES
Increase by twelve the number of ENG 100 faculty who understand their direct role in enhancing student completion, success, graduation and transfer rates.
Encourage a sense of community and foster connections amongst ENG 100 faculty.
Increase curricular and pedagogical innovation by introducing new content and teaching methods in twelve ENG 100 courses.
Enhance awareness about practices that support student success and learning for Native Hawaiian and other students.
Enhance awareness of significant place based/cultural based resources in Hawaiʻi.
